Reading Reflection #2

  • Do not copy the questions, just the label. Respond in complete sentences and be sure use the title of the book and specific character's names in your reflection.
  • Be sure to use a heading with the Title, Author, Pages --- to --- (pages read today)

1. Literal Scenario: Summarize the section that you just finished reading in a paragraph.
2. Character Description: Name the characters that appear in the section you read and whether each is a protagonist, antagonist and whether each is a flat or dynamic character.
3. Character Motivation: Describe each character's motivation in this section (what does each do, say, believe and why?). Use one piece of textual evidence with elaboration to support your analysis.
4. Tone and Diction: What is the tone of this section, has it changed over the course of the novel, and what diction has helped you figure it out? Use at one piece of evidence with elaboration to support your analysis.
